Elite Performing Company
Members of our performing company dance in the opening and closing pieces in our annual recital. They also perform throughout the year in local parades, festivals, and other performances.
Members of the performing company must be enrolled in a ballet and jazz class for the Fall/Winter/Spring sessions. If interested in auditioning for the 2010-2011 Elite Performing Company please contact Miss Jennie via email at jlnewman06@yahoo.com.

**Important Registration Information 2009-2010**
Full Session Payments
Payment for fall session (Sept 8th – Nov 23rd) is due at the time of registration, unless you have signed up for our monthly payment plan. Winter and spring tuition is due the first week of each new session.
Winter tuition is due no later than Saturday December 5th
Spring tuition is due no later than Saturday March 13th
*A $10 late fee will be charged if full payment is not received by the assigned due dates*
Monthly Payment Plan
Monthly billing is available by signing up for the automatic credit or debit card program. An authorization form must be filled out at the time of registration giving Elite Academy of Dance your permission to charge your credit/debit account on the 1st day of each new month (Sept 2009 thru May 2010). Your first month’s tuition will be charged at the time of registration.
Sibling Tuition Discount
Families with more than one child enrolled in classes will receive a 10% discount on tuition. The discount will be applied to the child with the lowest tuition. Discounts will not be applied to costume, company, or competition fees.
Elite Policies
Elite Academy of Dance reserves the right to cancel or combine any class due to insufficient enrollment. The Age/Experience recommendations are guidelines only. Student placement is subject to instructor’s approval.
An email address is required at the time of registration. We are going green this year. ALL information will be sent through email!!
In order to participate in the spring recital, students must be enrolled in classes for both the winter and spring session. Dancers will be measured for their costumes in December. We must be notified if your child is not participating in the recital by the beginning on the winter session.
If school is cancelled due to weather, our dance classes will also be cancelled. There will be no refunds given for classes cancelled due to weather. All missed classes may be made up within the current session.
Class, company, competition, or costume fees are non-refundable.

Class Attire :
Ballet: Dancers must have leotards, tights, and pink canvas or leather ballet shoes. Ballet skirts or tight fitting "bike" shorts may be worn over tights. Split sole ballet shoes are preferred
Jazz: Black jazz shoe, tight fitting shirt or leotard, tight fitting pants or shorts
Tap: Black tap shoe, tight fitting shirt or leotard, tight fitting pants or shorts. Tap 1 and up-no patent leather tap shoe allowed and leotard required, no heeled tap shoes
Hip Hop: Black jazz shoe or black jazz sneaker, tight fitting shirt with tight fitting pants or shorts
Lyrical: pink canvas ballet shoe, tight fitting shirt or leotard, tight fitting pants, shorts, or tights
Modern: Leotard required, tights or pants allowed, bare feet

Hair:
Ballet: Level 1 and up-no ponytails are allowed, hair must be in a bun or braid pinned up, long bangs must be pinned back
All other classes: Hair must be pulled and pinned back away from face
