We received 18 Platinum trophies, 51 High Gold trophies, and 3 Gold trophies, along with receiving the Teen Diamond Lyrical Icon award (congratulations, Megan Watwood!). 15 of our routines placed within the top 5 overall of their division, and 37 of our routines placed in the top 10 overall of their division – wow! Congratulations to our Junior/Teen Production, Dreamgirls, for placing 1st overall in their division - way to go, girls!!

We also received the weekend’s only Judges' Choice Award for It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, along with a Junior Photogenic winner (congratulations, Angelina Beidak!), and 2 costume awards, one of which goes to our very own Elite alum, Lizz Henrich for her design of Olivia Ziesmer’s solo costume. Lastly, we received Showbiz’s Sportsmanship Award, given to the studio displaying the best sportsmanship of the entire weekend. We are so blessed to work with dancers with such amazing hearts. You make us proud both on and off the stage!

Our dancers had an amazing weekend at VIP Dance! Congratulations to everyone on their outstanding performances!! We earned 14 Platinum trophies and 49 high gold trophies this weekend, with 26 routines placing within the top 10 of their division and 15 of our routines placing within the top 5 of their division. A special congratulation goes to A Fool In Love, All Shook Up, Dreamgirls, Don’t Rain On My Parade, Friend Like Me, I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing, I Got My Eye On You, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Next To You, That Man, The Face, When I Grow Up, & Sydney Sheridan for placing 1st in their category, and to A Fool In Love, Dreamgirls, Lock Down, The Face, and When I Rule The World for placing 1st overall in their division! Great job, girls!

A Fool In Love, Batter Up, Dark Of Day, and Megan Watwood received Dance Division awards, and our Production routine Janet received both a Judges’ Choice award and an Entertainment award. Lexi Herman, Joryn Kalvin, and Maddy O’Rourke were named as VIP Idol finalists, and Charlotte Semyck won 2nd runner up in the 12 & Under Photogenic competition. Way to go, girls! We are so proud of you all!!

24 of our routines placed within the top 5 overall of their division, and 15 of our routines placed in the top 3 overall of their division – amazing! Congratulations to All Shook Up, Batter Up, We Got The World, and When I Rule The World for placing 1st overall in their division - way to go, girls!!

We had 16 of our routines place in the top 3 of their category, and Emily Kuchta, Joyrn Kalvin, Megan Watwood, Olivia Ziesmer, and Shake The Room all placed 1st in their category. A special shout out goes to Maddy O'Rourke for receiving the Black Diamond award for her solo! Great job!!

Shake The Room and These Boots placed 3rd overall 12 & Under Apprentice Small Groups and 12 & Under Apprentice Duos/Trios, respectively, Friend Like Me placed 2nd overall 12 & Under Apprentice Duos/Trios, along with receiving the “Broadway Bound” Judges’ Choice Award, and When I Rule The World placed 1st of all 12 & Under Apprentice Duos/Trios. Congratulations, dancers!

Many of our dancers were recognized throughout the weekend with a variety of scholarship and special awards. Lexi Herman, Joryn Kalvin, Kyla Sheridan, Megan Watwood, Olivia Ziesmer, and Pink Cadillac were all recipients of a Pulse Scholarship, and Shayne Gandy and Channing Sparks received the PeriDance Scholarship. Anna Christopherson, Avery DePaul, and Morgan Watwood received the Horizon Princess Award, Hannah Dufek, Peyton McDuffee, Paige Mitrenga, and Ashley Pender received the Onzie Style Award, and Angelina Biedak and Olivia Zeismer received the Take The Lead Award. Ella Schamberger was the winner for the 13 & Up Camera Ready Photogenic Contest, and Joryn Kalvin, Emily Kuchta, Maddy O’Rourke, Kyla Sheridan, Sydney Sheridan, Channing Sparks, Megan Watwood, and Oliva Ziesmer were all named as a part of “The Cast”, receiving invitations to participate in Open Call’s 2017 Las Vegas Nationals. Awesome job, everyone!!

Lastly, we received the weekend’s Extreme Versatility Award, presented to the studio who displays the most well-rounded program, displaying proficiency in the greatest number of styles. We are so proud of this award, and we are so proud of our dancers for pushing themselves to master such a variety of dance styles. We love you, girls!!!

We received 43 high gold trophies and 27 platinum trophies – that’s the most platinums we’ve received at a regional so far this year! 33 of our routines placed 1st in their category – congratulations to Primitive, Bathing Beauty, Let It Out, Charlie’s Angels, Lullaby, Don’t Rain On My Parade, The Face, I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing, All That Jazz, Love Me Right, Dark Of Day, King Of Pop, Too Original, All I Want, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, That Man, Toy Soldier, Lock Down, Janet, Prima Donna, A Fool In Love, Candy Shop, All Shook Up, Dreamgirls, Sing With A Swing, Friend Like Me, When I Rule The World, Shayne Gandy, Joryn Kalvin, Peyton McDuffee, Brianna Santos, Lexi Herman, and Channing Sparks! Great job!!

10 of our routines placed within the top 11 overall of their division. Congratulations to Dreamgirls for placing 1st overall in their division – way to go, dancers!! All Shook Up and A Fool In Love each received the highest score of the day for all Musical Theatre and Jazz routines, respectively. Wow!!

We received 13 Judges’ Choice awards throughout the weekend (congratulations to Primitive, These Boots, Lullaby, All That Jazz, Dark Of Day, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Janet, A Fool In Love, Space Jam, I’ll Stand By You, When I Rule The World, Hannah Dufek, and Sophia Lopez!). We also received a Costume Award for Olivia Ziesmer’s solo costume – congratulations to Elite alumna Lizz Henrich!

Congratulations to Hannah Dufek, Shayne Gandy, Joryn Kalvin, Maddy O’Rourke, Kyla Sheridan and Channing Sparks for being named All Star Dancers and receiving invitations to Hall Of Fame’s Summer Nationals, and to Dark Of Day for being named an MVP and having their video featured on Hall Of Fame’s website. Way to go, girls!!

We received 11 high gold trophies, 38 platinum trophies, and 23 double platinum trophies – an EAOD record! 18 of our routines placed 1st in their category – congratulations to Bringin’ The Hype, Can’t Nobody, Dark Of Day, I Got My Eye On You, Love Me Right, Pink Cadillac, Shake The Room, That Man, We Got The World, When I Rule The World, Darby Anson, Shayne Gandy, Joryn Kalvin, Skylar Kolb, Kyla Sheridan, Sydney Sheridan, Megan Watwood, and Olivia Ziesmer!

An amazing 32 of our routines placed within the top 12 overall of their division, and 26 routines placed within the top 5 overall of their division! Congratulations to It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, The Face, These Boots, Too Original, We Got The World, and Sydney Sheridan for placing 1st overall in their division – way to go, girls!!

Our dancers received special recognition for their technique, performance, and artistry throughout the weekend. Congratulations to our Judges’ Choice Award recipients Bathing Beauty, I Got My Eye On You, Pink Cadillac, and We Got The World, Best Costume Award winner Horns Blow, and to our All-Star Dancers NYC winners A Fool In Love, Black Roses, Candy Shop, Can’t Nobody, I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing, Spinderella, The Face, When I Rule The World, Angelina Biedak, Shayne Gandy, and Brianna Santos. Congrats to Channing Sparks for being named a Senior Dancer Of The Year Finalist, to Olivia Ziesmer, recipient of the Senior KAR Dance Convention Scholarship, and to Ella Schamberger for being named the Senior Photogenic Winner. Great job, everyone!

A special shout out also goes to Toy Soldier for winning the HDI Award and being invited to participate in the Hollywood Dance Invitational, and to That Man for winning Industry Dance Awards Outstanding Performance Award as the best Character/Novelty/Musical Theatre routine of the weekend. We are so thrilled to have received these distinctions!

Congratulations to the Elite Competition Team on an AMAZING job at VIP Dance Nationals! We are so incredibly proud of the team and of all that they’ve accomplished this year. Great job, girls!

We received 29 Platinum trophies and 41 High Gold trophies - outstanding!! 22 of our routines placed in the top 5 overall of their division, and 42 routines placed in the top 10 overall of their division - our best yet! A special shout out goes to It’s All Coming Back To Me Now for being the top scoring Hollywood Line of the entire competition, and to our dancers in Janet for bringing home the 1st overall placement out of all Hollywood Productions in the competition for the second year in a row - amazing job, dancers!!

We received 2 Judges' Choice Awards (congrats to Love Me Right & Primitive!), along with being awarded as the Most Entertaining Act 2 times for Shayne Gandy’s solo and Too Original. Congratulations! Don’t Rain On My Parade, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now, Sophia Lopez, Lullaby, Next To You, Channing Sparks, & Toy Soldier all won Dance Division awards, recognizing them as having outstanding execution and performance within their respective styles. Awesome job!! We also received a costume award for Bathing Beauty, as well as 2 costume awards going to Elite alum Lizz Henrich for her design of Brianna Santos & Olivia Ziesmer’s solo costumes. Fantastic job, everyone!

Our dancers were honored throughout the week with special recognition by VIP. Congratulations to Shayne Gandy, Lexi Herman, Makenna Herman, Joryn Kalvin, Maddy O’Rourke, Megan Watwood, & Morgan Watwood for being Scholarship Finalists featured in the VIP’s Improv Lines during the Dance-Offs, and to Joryn Kalvin for winning the VIP Dance Scholarship and to Maddy O’Rourke for winning the Institute for American Musical Theatre Scholarship! Lexi Herman, Joryn Kalvin, & Maddy O’Rourke were also featured as dancers in VIP’s Opening Number for their Dance-Offs as Regional Idol Finalists, and Joryn Kalvin and Maddy O’Rourke were selected as models for VIP’s apparel line, Move Society. Way to go, girls!! A special congratulations also goes to Angelina Biedak, who won 2nd runner up in the 12 & Under Photogenic Contest. We are so proud of all of you!

To finish off the week, an incredible 8 of our routines qualified to compete again in Saturday’s Dance-Offs, featuring the competition’s highest scoring routines. A Fool In Love, Bringin’ The Hype, and Sing With A Swing all made it to the Broadway Dance-Off, where Sing With A Swing placed 8th overall! Lullaby, Next To You, and Too Original all made it to the Hollywood Dance-Off, along with It’s All Coming Back To Me Now as the top scoring Hollywood Line of the competition, and Janet as the top scoring Hollywood Production of the competition. Too Original placed 9th overall, It’s All Coming Back To Me Now placed 6th over all, and Janet placed 2nd overall in the Dance-Off!! Amazing job, girls!!

We are so incredibly proud of each and every one of you, dancers! It was truly the perfect way to wrap up our year. We had an OUTSTANDING season from beginning to end, and we love you all!!
