Kids Artistic Revue

Our Elite Competition Team kicked off the 2019 regional season with a bang this weekend at KAR in Elgin! Congratulations to all of our dancers - we are so proud of you!!!
A BIG thank you goes out to all of our Elite Competition Team parents and families for their help & support, and especially to our Prop Moms, Dads, & Siblings who helped us this weekend. Thank you for all that you do to help and support our dancers!

Below is a recap of our weekend at KAR...
Our dancers earned 6 First placements, 32 Top First Placements, and an incredible 34 Elite Top First placements this weekend – wow! 15 of our routines placed 1st in their category – congratulations to Break The Ice, Breathe, It’s All About Tonight, I Was Made For Loving You, Leave A Light On, Show You Love, Something New, The Pursuit Of Belonging, Whatever We Want, Gabriella Catozza, Makenna Herman, Julia Lorenty, Priya Sprenger, Tori Trevino, & Morgan Watwood!

43 of our routines placed within the top 16 of their division, and 34 routines placed within the top 5 of their division! A special congratulation goes to All About Tonight, Automatic, Don’t Let Go, Fabulous, I Surrender, Leave A Light On, New York, New York, & Priya Sprenger for placing 1st overall in their division! Amazing job, dancers!!

Only Love and Greased Lightin’ both received Judge’s Choice awards, and AAA, Brave, Break The Ice, Ice, Leave A Light On, Lost Stars, No Limit, Start Your Engine, Whatever We Want, Margaret Goldsworthy, Katelyn Hulst, Skylar Kolb, Julia Lorenty, Ava Murnane, & Megan Watwood all received New York City All Star invitations. Great job! Ava Murnane was named as 4th Runner Up for Secondary Miss Teen Dance, Tori Trevino received a KAR Convention Scholarship, and Automatic, Leave A Light On, Fabulous, and Priya Sprenger all won Nex-Us Scholarships. I Was Made For Loving You was recognized as having the Best Costume for its division, and The Pursuit Of Belonging and Circus were both named Most Entertaining of their divisions. Additionally, Circus was selected as KAR’s Video Of The Week! Way to go, everybody!

To cap off the weekend, Elite was named as the Top Intermediate Studio Of Excellence, as the studio with the most High Point winners in the Intermediate level. This is such an honor, and we are so proud of our team for achieving this!

Bravo! National Dance and Talent Competition 

Our dancers earned 3 High Golds, 22 Elite High Golds, and 48 Platinums! 21 of our routines placed 1st in their category – congratulations to AAA, Blow The System, Brave, Break The Ice, Came Here For Love, Crocodile Rock, Don’t Let Go, Do Somethin’, Hannah Dufek, In The Mood, Joryn Kalvin, Julia Lorenty, Money In The Bank, Only Love, Please, Mr. Postman, Power, Something New, Maddy O’Rourke, Morgan Watwood, Whatever We Want, & Olivia Ziesmer!

46 of our routines placed within the top 15 of their division, and 35 routines placed within the top 5 of their division! A special congratulation goes to All About Tonight, Crocodile Rock, Do Somethin’, Hairspray, Maddy O’Rourke, Power, & Something New for placing 1st overall in their division! Great work, girls!!

We received Judge’s Choice awards for Automatic, Breathe, Buenos Aires, Skylar Kolb, Leave A Light On, Please, Mr. Postman, Priya Sprenger, & Whatever We Want, and Do Somethin’, Salute, & Brianna Santos all received Excellence in Showmanship Awards. A special shout out goes to Maya Mullally as a raffle winner & to Lizzi McCollough for receiving an Inaside Scholarship, as well as to Sammy Gonzalez for receiving a Choreography Award for Money In The Bank! To cap it all off, our Junior Production routine, Hairspray, was given the Standing Ovation award for having the “total package” on stage – way to go, dancers!!

Hall of Fame Dance Challenge

Our dancers won 35 High Golds, 35 Platinums, and 1 Grand Slam for our Teen Production, Salute – our first ever!! 22 of our routines placed 1st in their category – congratulations to Battlefield, Break The Ice, Breathe, Buenos Aires, Came Here For Love, Crocodile Rock, Don’t Let Go, Fabulous, Hairspray, Ice, Infinity x Infinity, Lauren Molnar, Money In The Bank, No Limit, New York, New York, Only Love, Brianna Santos, Show You Love, Something New, Start Your Engine, Whatever We Want, & Olivia Ziesmer!

26 of our routines placed within the top 112 of their division, and we had 35 routines place within the top 5 of their division! An extra special shout out goes to All About Tonight, Crocodile Rock, & Hairspray placing 1st overall in their division! Way to go, dancers!!

15 of our routines received special recognition with Judge’s Choice awards (congratulations to AAA, All About Tonight, Breathe, Don’t Let Go, Shayne Gandy, Margaret Goldsworthy, Fabulous, Hairspray, Ice, Julia Lorenty, Only Love, Sophia Lopez, Ava Murnane, Show You Love, & Whatever We Want!), and New York, New York was named Best In Tap for its’ division. Brooke Bischoff, Makenna Herman, Joryn Kalvin, Julia Lorenty, Morgan Watwood, & Olivia Ziesmer were all named as All Stars, and The Pursuit Of Belonging and Salute were both named MVPs, earning them a place on Hall Of Fame’s video gallery on their website! We were also honored to receive a Choreography Award for our Teen Production, Salute. This was an amazing weekend!

Rainbow National Dance Competition

Our dancers earned 4 High Golds, 41 Platinum, and 28 Double Platinums! 22 of our routines placed 1st in their category – congratulations to AAA, All About Tonight, Blow The System, Brave, Buenos Aires, Gabriella Catozza, Circus, Lilly Domin, Do Somethin’, Hannah Dufek, Morgan Fahey, Margaret Goldsworthy, Makenna Herman, Joryn Kalvin, Julia Lorenty, Money In The Bank, Ava Murnane, Only Love, Charlotte Semyck, Priya Sprenger, Tori Trevino, & Megan Watwood!

38 of our routines placed within the top 20 of their division, and 27 routines placed within the top 5 of their division! A special shout out goes to AAA, All About Tonight, Blow The System, Brave, Crocodile Rock, I Surrender, New York, New York, & Salute for placing 1st overall in their division! Way to go, girls!! 

AAA, Battlefield, Boogie Down Love, Breathe, Fabulous, Margaret Goldsworthy, Makenna Herman, Katelyn Hulst, I Surrender, Leave A Light On, Julia Lorenty, Ava Murnane, Only Love, & The Climb all received New York City All Star Awards, and Breathe, Ice, & I Surrender received Judges’ Choice Awards. A special congrats goes to Megan Watwood for winning a KAR Convention Scholarship, and to Please, Mr. Postman for winning Best Costume. All About Tonight was awarded Most Entertaining Act and Rainbow’s Video Of The Year Award, and No Limit was named as the IDA Best In Hip Hop. Finally, Elite was given the ADCC Studio Of Excellence Award at the end of the weekend – wow!

Legacy Dance Championship

Our dancers earned 18 Elite Golds and 55 Platinums! 39 of our routines placed within the top 10 of their division, and 29 routines placed within the top 5 of their division! A special congratulation goes to All About Tonight, Blow The System, Hairspray, Leave A Light On, Please, Mr. Postman, & Something New for placing 1st overall in their division! Way to go, dancers!!

Gabriella Catozza, Crocodile Rock, Do Somethin’, Morgan Fahey, Ice, I Surrender, Lizzi McCollough, Maddy O’Rourke, Brianna Santos, & Olivia Ziesmer all received Judge’s Choice awards last weekend.

A special congratulation goes to Darby Anson, Brooke Bischoff, Lilly Domin, Hannah Dufek, Morgan Fahey, Shayne Gandy, Lexi Herman, Maddy O’Rourke, Priya Sprenger, Megan Watwood, & Olivia Ziesmer for receiving All Star Nationals Invitations, to our Scholarship Winners Joryn Kalvin & Olivia Ziesmer, and to Joryn Kalvin for being named 2nd Runner Up Junior Miss Legacy! To round off the weekend, we were given the Sportsmanship Award. Great job, everyone! We are so proud of you all!!
