Class tuition can be paid according to one of our three payment plans - Full Session Payment, Three Installment Payment, or Monthly Payment. Payment is required at the time of registration in order to reserve a dancer’s spot in class. All class tuition, Performing Company, and Competition Team fees are non-refundable.
Any dancer with unpaid tuition or costume fees will be unable to perform in the Spring Recital and unable to enroll in future sessions.
An ACTIVE email address is required at the time of registration. All important studio information will be sent via email.
Elite Academy of Dance reserves the right to cancel or combine any class due to insufficient enrollment. Class minimum is six students. If a class does not meet this minimum, it may be canceled or combined with another class.
In the event that your dancer misses their regular weekly class, they are more than welcome to attend a make-up class in a class of their choosing that is in the same level or lower than the class that is missed, and is the same number of minutes as the class that is missed. Their make-up class does not need to be in the same style of dance as the class that they missed. All missed classes must be made up within the current session.
All class changes, including class transfers and class drops, must be taken care of through our front office. Please note that since our Fall/Winter/Spring Session is an ongoing 36-week session, your enrollment is automatically carried over from the Fall to the Winter and Spring terms, and you will be responsible for notifying the front office if you wish to drop a class at the end of the term. You will be responsible for all tuition charges (including weeks in which you do not attend) until you notify the front office that you would like to change/drop a class.
Any student who wishes to enroll in more than one section of a technique class must see instructors for appropriate class options. In order to ease performance order scheduling in the Spring Recital, dancers who enroll in more than one level of a technique class will only be eligible to perform in the recital with the class level they have been assigned.
Dancers will be measured for their recital costumes in mid November. We must be notified if your child is NOT participating in the recital by the last week of October. A Recital Costume Deposit is due November 3rd. We will be unable to order recital costumes for any dancer who has not submitted a Recital Costume Deposit. A Recital Costume Balance is due February 2nd. We will be unable to send home costumes with any dancer that has not submitted a Recital Costume Balance. All costume fees (deposits, balances, shipping & processing fees) are non-refundable.
First and foremost, our students' safety is our main concern. We ask that all parents please pull into a parking space in the parking lot, instead of pulling up at the curb to drop off or pick up their dancer. Curbside parking is not allowed. Parents and dancers should use the marked crosswalk (located just north of our main door at the stop sign) to cross to and from the parking lot. We also ask that parents please pull into a single space in the parking lot instead of pulling up in the aisle, as this blocks other cars from entering or exiting the lot. We know that you take the safety of your children seriously, as do we, and we kindly ask for your help in keeping our children safe at Elite.
Elite Academy of Dance follows St. Charles School District 303’s Snow Day/School Closing policies. If school is canceled due to weather, our dance classes will also be canceled. There will be no refunds given for classes canceled due to weather, however, dancers are more than welcome to attend a make-up class in a class of your choosing that is in the same level or lower than the class that is missed, and is the same number of minutes as the class that is missed. All missed classes must be made up within the current session.
