class attire

all dance shoes must be labeled with dancer's first and last name.

hair must be pulled back away from the face. all flyaways and bangs must be pinned back.

 

youth training program classes

tiny toes & combo classes: Dancers may wear their choice of leotard and tights (with or without a skirt), or comfortable “movement-friendly”

clothing. Ballet shoes should be leather or canvas ONLY. Black tap shoes (patent leather style preferred) will be worn for Tap Combos. Leather ballet

or jazz shoes may be worn for Jazz Combos. Jazz shoes or clean sneakers may be worn for Hip Hop Combos. There is no shoe color requirement for

class. For those dancers participating in the spring recital, all Tiny Toes classes and those classes doing a ballet routine will wear pink ballet shoes,

those doing a jazz or hip hop routine will wear black jazz shoes, and those doing a tap routine will wear black tap shoes.

ballet basics, beg, beg/int, int, int/adv & adv ballet: Dancers must wear a black leotard, pink footed tights, & pink leather or canvas ballet shoes. A

solid black ballet skirt is allowed for center work if desired. Tight fitting shorts are allowed. Hair must be in a bun.

basics: Single OR split-soled ballet shoes may be worn.

beg, beg/int, int, int/adv, & adv classes: Dancers must wear a light pink hip alignment belt over their leotard. Split-sole ballet shoes are preferred.

 

hip hop: Dancers must wear a tight-fitting shirt with tight fitting pants or shorts. Dancers must wear a CLEAN pair of sneakers or hip hop shoes.

NO STREET SHOES ARE ALLOWED ON THE STUDIO FLOORS.

 

all other classes: Dancers must wear a tight-fitting shirt or leotard, tight fitting pants, shorts, or tights. Shoe requirements for each class are below…

 

contemporary/lyrical: Tan Dance Paws/Footundeez or turners.

jazz, musical theatre, poms, & turns & leaps: Black jazz shoes or turners (dancers participating in a jazz, musical theatre, or poms recital dance will

wear black jazz shoes in the recital).

pre-pointe: Bare feet

tap: Black tap shoes (Heeled tap shoes are not allowed. Patent leather shoes are allowed in Combo classes only).

 

male dancers:

ballet classes: Dancers must wear a solid white t-shirt, solid black pants or shorts, and black ballet shoes.

all other classes: Dancers must wear a t-shirt, solid black pants or shorts, and black jazz shoes.

 

competition team classes

ballet: Dancers must wear a black leotard, pink footed tights, & pink leather or canvas ballet shoes. Tight fitting shorts are allowed. Hair must be in a

bun.

section 2-11 classes: Dancers must wear a light pink hip alignment belt over their leotard. Split-sole ballet shoes are preferred.

 

hip hop: Dancers must wear a tight-fitting shirt with tight fitting pants or shorts. Dancers must wear a CLEAN pair of sneakers or hip hop shoes.

flex comp classes sections 1-5, dancers must wear all black dance attire or Elite apparel for these classes with the appropriate style shoes for

that class. Sections 1-5 contemp/lyrical, hip hop, & musical theatre classes do not have to wear all black. Shoe requirements for each class are

below…

DANCERS MUST WEAR ALL BLACK DANCE ATTIRE TO ALL COMPETITION TEAM CHOREOGRAPHY SESSIONS AND WEEKLY

REHEARSALS.
